Call whisper plays a short message or audio file to the person answering the phone, immediately before being connected to the caller. It is useful for identifying which source or campaign a call is coming from, allowing you to answer and manage the call accordingly.
You can set up call whisper by following the below steps:
1. Navigate to Settings > Numbers, then select the cog icon next to the number you want to configure the whisper for.
2. Under Dial Action, toggle the Whisper Message ON
In this example, the called party will hear "Call from WildJar".
If you would like the whisper to say the source name of the service the call is coming through, you can add the [[SourceName]] placeholder, as below:
3. Type in the message in the box or upload an audio file.
4. Click to save.
Once saved, when the answering party answers the call, they will hear the message as it was set to each WildJar tracking number.
