WildJar allows you to track calls generated from ads in ChatGPT and send them back as a conversion to OpenAI Ads Manager.
Getting started
The below are required in order to integrate into OpenAI Ads:
- OpenAI Ads Pixel ID
- OpenAI Ads Conversions API Key
- Create a Conversion Event for phone calls in OpenAI Ads Manager
- Link an OpenAI Ads campaign to your Conversion Event
- Set up Dynamic Number Insertion (by default, any swap rules which swap numbers for all traffic, all paid traffic or chat/gpt ads will track OpenAI Ads)
Activating OpenAI Ads integration
Please follow the below steps to configure OpenAI Ads integration:
- Click Integrations in the left hand menu
- Under OpenAI, click Configure
- Select the WildJar account you wish to configure
- Enter your OpenAI Pixel ID
- Enter your OpenAI Conversions API key
- If you would like to only send first time callers as conversions, toggle on First time callers only
- Click Save

How to find your OpenAI Pixel ID and Conversions API key
Pixel ID
You can find your Open AI Ads key by following the below steps:
- Go to OpenAI Ads Manager and log in to your account
- Navigate to Tools > Conversions
- Click on the Data Source tab
- Under the data source you wish to send these conversion to, hover the mouse over the ID below it and click Copy Pixel ID
Conversions API key
You can create an OpenAI Ads Conversions API key by following the below steps:
- Go to OpenAI Ads Manager and log in to your account
- Navigate to Tools > Conversions
- Click Conversion keys
- Click + Create new key
- Enter a descriptive name for your key and click Create
- Copy the API key
Create a Conversion Event in OpenAI Ads Manager
Follow the below steps to create a Conversion Event in OpenAi Ads:
- Go to OpenAI Ads Manager and log in to your account
- Navigate to Tools > Conversions
- Click + Create > Conversion Event
- Under Base Event, select Enter Custom Event and type
phone_lead - Give the Conversion Event a descriptive name, select your data source and conversion window
- Click Create
