Outbound calling can be enabled for any user and allows you to make outbound calls from your WildJar dashboard or WildJar Phone app using a phone number on your WildJar account.
Getting started
To get started with WildJar for outbound calling, you will need the following:
- Enable the Web Phone for users on your account
There are two ways you can make outbound calls through WildJar:
- WildJar Web Phone in your browser
- WildJar Phone iOS app (Android app coming soon)
WildJar web phone
Please follow the below instructions to make a call from the WildJar Web phone:
- Log into the WildJar portal. If you can't see the Web Phone icon on the right hand side of your portal, ensure that you enable the Web Phone in the user settings.
- Click on the phone tab to open the web phone module.
If you are shown a login screen, enter your WildJar credentials and click Sign In -
Select the tracking number to use as your Caller ID for outbound calls.
If it is the first time using the web phone, select your tracking number from the list:If you already have a tracking number selected and want to change the number used for outbound calls, click the cog icon and select Change Caller ID.
⚠️ Please note: You can only show the Caller ID from landline/geographic numbers and/or mobile numbers in Australia, NZ and the UK. Tollfree numbers may be used as caller ID in the USA only. Using any other caller ID may result in calls being blocked.

Use the keyboard or the on-screen keypad to enter the phone number.
- If you'd like to make a private call, switch the toggle next to your caller ID off
- If you'd like to record the call, switch the record calls toggle on
- Click the call button
- If you'd like to take notes, click the notes icon and write the notes.
- Click the hangup icon to terminate the call.
- Once the call is finished, click Save notes to save your notes directly on the outbound call log record for the call.

You can view outbound calls after the call has completed in the outbound call log by going to Outbound > Calls.
WildJar Phone iOS app
You can download the WildJar Phone app from the Apple AppStore. It's currently available in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Italy.
Please follow the below instructions to make a call from the WildJar Web phone app:
- Open the WildJar Phone app on your device
- If you haven't logged in already, log in using your WildJar credentials
- If you are logging in for the first time, you can select the caller ID which will be shown for outbound calls. If you have already selected one previously and wish to change it, you can select it by going to the Settings tab and clicking Caller ID/Tracking Number.
⚠️ Please note: You can only show the Caller ID from landline/geographic numbers and/or mobile numbers in Australia, NZ and the UK. Tollfree numbers may be used as caller ID in the USA only. Using any other caller ID may result in calls being blocked.
- You can configure if you'd like to record calls or hide your caller ID by going to the Settings tab and toggling Call Recording and/or Hide Caller ID on or off.
⚠️ Please note: it is a legal requirement to notify callers that a call is recorded.
- Use the keypad to dial the number and hit the call button.
- If you would like to log a note on the call, you can click the notes button in the bottom right of the call during the call.
- Click the hangup button to terminate the call.

If you would like add notes after the call is finished, go to the History tab and clicking on the add notes button to the right hand side of the call.
You can also make notes for any completed calls by going to Outbound > Calls in the WildJar portal.
