WildJar's GA4 integration allows you to attribute your calls back to website visits by sending an event to Google Analytics.
To integrate your calls to GA4, you will need your GA4 Measurement ID and a Measurement Protocol API Secret.
Once integrated, you can mark phone lead events as a key event or configure GA4 to receive additional WildJar data as custom definitions for use in your reporting.
Activating GA4 integration
To integrate WildJar into your Google Analytics 4 property, please follow the steps below:
- Select Integrations from the main menu
- Under Google Analytics, click Configure.
- Select the account you wish to integrate with GA4.
- Enter the Measurement ID and API secret for your GA4 property:
- Select whether you want to send All Tracking Numbers or Select Tracking Numbers
- Choose how you would like events to be sent to GA4:
Send phone calls as one event: all calls will be sent to GA with the event "phone_lead"
Send first time and repeat calls as separate event names: first time callers will be sent to GA with the event name "phone_lead_first" and repeat calls with "phone_lead_repeat".
- Click Save.
