Google Analytics 4 is Google's next generation of the Google Analytics platform and allows you to track both website and app data side-by-side in a single reporting property. WildJar's GA4 integration allows you to attribute your calls back to website visits by sending a "phone_lead" event.
To integrate your calls to GA 4, you will need your GA4 Measurement ID and a Measurement Protocol API Secret.
Activating GA4 integration
To integrate WildJar into your Google Analytics 4 property, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Integrations page and under Google Analytics 4, click "configure".
- Select the account you wish to integrate with GA4.
- Enter the Measurement ID and API secret for your GA4 property and toggle the switches on for each number you want to activate GA4 integration.
- Click Save.
Congratulations, your GA4 integration is now set up! 🎉

Please note: phone_lead events will show in the Realtime report for 30 minutes after a call, however, it may take up to 24 hours for events to populate in GA4 reports.
Mark phone_lead events as conversions
- Sign in to your Google Analytics account and select the relevant GA4 property.
- Click Admin from the main menu.
- Select Events
- If a phone_lead event has already been received in GA4, toggle the switch next to the phone_lead event on to mark it as a conversion:
If a phone_lead event hasn't been received in GA4 yet and doesn't appear in the Existing Events table, you can go to Admin, > Conversions, click New Conversion Event, type phone_lead as the event name and click Save.
How to find your GA4 Measurement ID and API Secret
- Sign in to your Google Analytics account and select the relevant GA4 property.
- Click Admin in the bottom left of the screen.
- In the Property column, select Data Streams, then select the stream you want to send calls to:
